War Child is a specialist charity for children affected by conflict. They’ve been driven by a single goal – ensuring a safe future for every child living through war.
What did they need?
In response to the urgent need for funds during the COVID-19 pandemic, I had the privilege of working on the UI design for War Child's Coronavirus Crowdfunder. This project posed a unique set of challenges, with a particularly tight turnaround and the imperative to seamlessly integrate the crowdfunding platform into the existing War Child brand.
The work
I meticulously explored their visual language, color palette, and typography for a smooth transition between the main site and the crowdfunding interface, resulting in a design that radiated unity and purpose.
Understanding the significance of clarity in a time-sensitive campaign, the UI was crafted to provide users with an immediate understanding of where they were and what actions were required. Clear and concise navigation ensured that potential donors could effortlessly navigate through the crowdfunding process, minimising friction and maximising contributions.
